Each year, WISE celebrates women working in the sports industry by highlighting their journeys, work and 'power' moves in the business at our Power Play Event during Women's History month.
The event will be a 2-parter on Friday, March 13:
Part 1: Coffee and Conversation
Zoom: 8:30AM - 9:30AM
Enjoy a moderated virtual panel discussing everything that goes into creating the Mavs International Women’s Day. Our panel will feature 4 of the Mavs employee stakeholders who bring the event to life.

- Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Chef Camille Bermejo developed a passion for the culinary arts at an early age, inspired by time spent cooking alongside her mother and grandmother. At the age of sixteen, she began working in a variety of restaurants, intentionally seeking opportunities to gain exposure to diverse cuisines, cultures, and culinary techniques to further develop her craft.
- Chef Camille’s creativity and thoughtful approach to menu development have played an integral role in shaping the concessions program at the American Airlines Center. Her commitment to diversity, authenticity, and innovation has helped create dynamic and distinctive culinary offerings that elevate the overall guest experience.
- Chef Camille will be featured at the Yuengling Flight Deck on the Platinum Level, available with reservations
- Additionally, her signature dish will be available at El Taco Tex near sections 105 & 117 on the Plaza Level:
- El Mavchete: A Foot Long Blue Corn Quesadilla, Stuffed with Cheese, and Marinated Spicy Shrimp, Roasted Corn Salsa, Pickled Red Onion, and Guacamole. Served with a choice of Salsa Verde or Salsa Roja.
- Purple Frosting Cookie by Cookie Society
- Freshly baked by locally owned Cookie Society, this soft sugar cookie is topped with smooth purple frosting. Available at the Market-To-Go locations near sections 105 and 111 on the Plaza Level and section 319 on the Terrace Level.
- Boss Lady
- Grey Goose Vodka, Blueberry Puree, Lemon Juice, and Lemon-Lime Soda. Available at the Patron Tequileria Bar on the Plaza level and at the Casa Bacardi Bar on the Terrace Level.
